Family Room Upgrade (beginning stage!)

We received our new furniture on Feb 8, and have been loving it... When we got home this Friday (Feb 22), Jeff installed the TV wall mount so that we can have our living room coffee table back - The coolest thing about it is that we pull the TV away from the wall by about 23 inches, and can turn the TV a whole 180 degrees, so we can watch it from any angle:

The room is still not what we're planning on it being, but we're definitely off to a good start. We plan on buying a nice area rug for it, a console table (for under the tv) and a nice wood/glass coffee table too. We've got a wood holder next to the fireplace, on one side of the love seat. On the other end, we've got Jeff's great-grandpa's end-table. It's very pretty, but it needs some refinishing work. Mike is making a custom glass top for us so we can protect the leather top. Right now we have a white sheet over it, so the cats don't ruin it.

In about a couple of years, we're going to rip the carpet out, install either Pergo or real hardwood flooring in there, paint the walls a dark wine red, and install white wainscoting. It'll be a while before that room becomes what we're envisioning... But it'll be worth the wait!
