We're not in Kansas Anymore...

We took Friday and Monday off so we could spend a 4-day weekend in Topeka for Sayra and Tim's graduation. Two of my other sibling flew in on Friday night, and we had a wonderful barbeque on Saturday, with Tim's family, then headed off to dairy queen for some desserts:

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the ceremony:

Tim's family left on Sunday morning, and the rest of us packed up most of their things and loaded them into the u-haul, which Julio and Sayra and Julio drove back to SD on Monday and Tuesday:

Here's the full photo album if you're interested in seeing all the pictures: Hurley Grad. We had a great weekend (80-degree weather), but didn't get as much sleep as we're used to. We've been trying to catch up on sleep all week, but this coming weekend is going to be pretty busy as well... The good news is that the 40-degree weather in Binghamton is finally warming up, just in time for the holiday weekend.

  1. Yum... I've never been to a Diary Queen before which is sad because I love ice cream so much. Do they really put that trademark "curl" at the top of every cone? Looks like you had a good time!
