Well, I thought that Derek might be a little too young for a shape sorter, but I was hoping to get one for him shortly after his birthday for him to play with. Lucky for me, he received one for his birthday. I was amazed at how well he plays with it. He's patient enough to try the same piece over and over in all the different slots! Every now and then he manages to get one shape in, but he loves playing even if he doesnt get the shape in at all.
