Sick Winter

Winter is almost over, and this family still cant really "shake off" these colds... We had a bit of a rough week because the boys have not been feeling well, and not sleeping as long as they're used to. We're hoping next year we can all be healthier, because the doctor bills were pretty high for these past 2 months!

Ben is really enjoying going to preschool. He has fun with his classmates, and loves his teacher. He's been going to school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, but now he'll also be going on Fridays as well. He loves praying for our food, and strangers are always telling me he's a sweet kid, because he loves to go say hi and hug people. It can be embarrassing at times, but overall he does pretty well. His favorite books are "the missing dinosaur bone" (it's a Berenstain Bears book), "I Wish That I Had Duck Feet", and "Guess How Much I Love You". No matter what book we pick for night time, we always have to read him these 3 stories as well.

Derek is almost 2 now, and he's been very grouchy for the last 2-3 months. If it's an indication of what the next year will be like, then i hope he turns 3 soon! He's still a sweet kid, but now I think we should have named him Bruce, since his tantrums get pretty bad. We've been working on weaning him off the pacifier for the past 2 weeks. He only has it in his bedroom when he is sleeping. Hopefully he won't need it in a few months. He's talking more these days (hi, bye, thank you, [you're] welcome, kitty, cow, red, green, shoes, ca-chow), but he prefers to just grunt and moan when he doesn't get his way. That's all I'm posting for now. Will try to post again soon, and maybe some pictures and videos too.
