Busy Weekend

Jeff took a vacation day on Friday, so he could work on removing the tree branches from the garden, and meet with the guy that came over to quote removing the two pine trees on the sides of our house. On Saturday, he was able to repair the garden and get it some-what ready for the next planting season:

We went to Steve and Ame's house for a sleep-over dinner party on Saturday. We ate a ton of food and desserts, and stayed up late. We had a very good time. We even managed to wake up early enough to watch the end of "Zathura" on TV, before having breakfast. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PICTURES

When we got home today, we cleaned out the fireplace and Jeff removed the carpet in the upstairs hallway:

It was a long weekend, but the coming week is going to be way harder on us, because we have too much to do at work and at the house. Wish us luck!

    O dang! Abi, you and Jeff have been up to a lot on the house. I like what I see on those wood floors in the hallway upstairs. That will look great when you get the floor buffed up and pretty. Plus you add your standard white floor trim and you are good to go! Nice!

    And adult slumber parties?!! Holy cow, I didn't know those things existed past high school. That sounds like a load of fun, can't wait to see pictures...
