Sorry for not posting in a while - I ended up working a lot more overtime this week than anticipated, because I was asked to help out another department at work, in translating a bunch of stuff from Spanish to English. I still have some work to do before I finish, but it's the only task I looked forward to doing all week! Needless to say, I'm learning that people in Venezuela, Bolivia, and Colombia (which is what I'm translating) use a ton of swear words in their vocabulary. I guess the good thing is I had to look most of them up in a dictionary!
Today, I'm cleaning the house and doing laundry (as much as possible), before going to Heather's baby shower. I'll finally be able to post a few pictures of what I made for her - I've been dying to tell you all, but she checks this regularly, so telling the rest of you on here just wouldnt have been a good idea. Mike is having a "diaper party" at the same time, so that the guys all have something to do while the girls are at the shower. The're planning on having an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, then going golfing. Hopefully it doesnt rain on them!
Tomorrow, I'll be participating in the American Heart Association fundraising Heart Walk... It's my first one, but it's only a mile (1/2 uphill, 1/2 downhill) and I'm the team captain for a bunch of people from work. I cant wait! If you'd like to donate on my behalf, please click here
After the walk, we're having Steve, Ame, Giac and Carolyn over for pizza and desserts... the three of us are going to bake a ton of goodies (which we will all be sharing at the end of the night). I'm looking forward to it!
