Fun With Friends

Last week was pretty busy... I watched Levan on Wednesday, and both he and Ben had a really good time. They played, ate, and napped together. Here are some of my favorite pictures from their playdate:

On Thursday, I met a bunch of girls over at Angela's house for a monthly recipe club. Each girl makes something to fit the theme that the hostess chooses, and we all get to eat the meal together and exchange recipes. The theme was low-fat, high-fiber. There was a great variety of stuff to eat, so I'm really looking forward to next month's!
On Friday, Ben and I met Colleen, Brent, Terri, and Alex at the roller rink. Colleen spent a good chunk of time teaching Brent how to roller skate, and Ben enjoyed watching the lights and the other kids. It's too early to put roller skates on Ben, but hopefully this time next year we can have him do laps around me!
Antonio, Silvia, and David came over on Saturday morning to hang out a bit. Then Silvia and I snuck out to go get our nails done... I havent done that since Ben was born, so it was a nice treat. The massaging chair really helped my back, too! When we returned home, the 6 of us had a small lunch. It was short visit, but I liked having some girl time in there too!
After lunch, Ben took a nap and then we went to our "Mommy Club" date. Angela/Ava and Ame/Aidan met us at Tanya/Levan's house for a playdate. Aidan is still a little too small to play with the other kids, but hopefully seeing the other kids move around makes him want to crawl soon. I think all 4 kids will have a great time in a few months once they can all interact a little more.
On Sunday, we went to Mike and Heather's house for a Lia Sophia party. The boys all went to the Rockwell museum while the girls spent their money and had a good time... Afterwards, Heather and I had a chance to embarrass Tom (which is always fun!!)

Last, but not least, here are two pictures of Ben being messy with a teething biscuit:
