This morning I ran errands while Jeff stayed home to bathe the boys and await the Nemer family. When I got home, the boys brought the groceries in for me, and Julie watched the kids while I put most of the food away. Jeff and Fernando started working on installing the carpet runner, so we got ready to go out while Derek was napping, so we could leave as soon as he woke up. We went shopping to a few places, then stopped at Sam's to pick up some drinks and headed to Arnold Park:
The kids played very well. One little girl even tried to help Tatum climb a chain ladder! Ben had fun running around and climbing all the steps to the big slides, then would chicken out at the last moment and climb back down. Either way, he loved the freedom! Derek was not a fan of the swings AT ALL. He cried when i pushed him, so we moved on to something else. He LOVED playing in the sandbox, and carried the little shovel throughout the park for the rest of the time we were there...
Tatum and Ben fell asleep on the way home and stayed asleep in the car for at least a half hour in the driveway!
