I went to home depot first, to buy him a new soldering iron because his old one died last night, and he needs it to work on his RC car. I was hoping to get it for him for Father's day, but that's still 2 months away, so I'll need to come up with some other ideas instead. Then I did grocery shopping and bought all our laminate flooring at Sam's. I had planned on asking an associate for help loading the cart, and with loading my car. Then i saw it as an opportunity to do some exercise, so I did it all on my own. MAN, what that a workout! When I got home, I put some groceries away and made a late lunch for Jeff and I. when we finished eating, I put the rest of the groceries away and fed Derek.
One of the things I came home with, that wasn't on the list, was a box of mini ice cream cones. the drumstick kind. Ben loves having dessert with us after dinner, so if he eats well that day, we give him a treat for being good. I figured the little cones would be perfect for him:
